1. Run the Web Connector in Single User Mode 

With multiple people using the same company file at once it can errors when the web connector is trying to pull the data over

2. Close any open invoices or reports

   All windows should be closed when the web connector is running to avoid data pulling inside QuickBooks from interrupting the sync 

3. Export Data from One Entity at a Time

    Exporting data from different entities, such as sending timesheets and invoices at the same time, has been known to cause issues with the Web Connector. The best practice would be to run exports for each thing differently

4. Have a Steady Internet Connection 

    A slow or unsteady internet connection can cause errors with the web connector

5. Do Not Use Auto Run

    This can cause the web connector to freeze and can take a long time to run
